Velvet Sheep is a music site, born of grunge, fed on garage and finding ever more esoteric excitement featuring the long-running series “Song For Ewe” plus interviews & reviews of some of the best & fuzziest bands out there.

Emerging from the legendary 90s grunge fanzine, Velvet Sheep was mentioned by John Peel (twice) and appeared at the V&A museum. Originally set up by BAFTA winning TV producer Nick Hutchings (MTV, BBC, C4) when he was a mere fuzzy felt lamb, its online form features contributions from both Nick and his long suffering sidekick, magician & standup Phil Knoxville.

Velvet Sheep also run some of the most spiffing garage rock nights the capital has ever seen.
