Here’s a link to last week’s eleventh episode of Velvet Sheep radio – a show that’s been broadcast fortnightly on

This one was on June 1st…

There’s a lot of reminiscing about my time working at MTV (dancing to Beck, interviewing Elliott Smith and more), there’s a few comedy records of dubious taste and there’s a whole hour of space-rock – an exclusive mixtape for the blog by Radio Massacre International played for the first time in full on the radio (with the Philip K. Dick inspired title “Do Electric Sheep Dream of Space Rock”)

Not to mention “songs for ewe” from Chris Broderick of The Singing Loins, Dylan Hundley of Lulu Lewis, Andy Golding of The Wolfhounds/Dragon Welding and Ronna Reason who once auditioned for Smashing Pumpkins but found their personal hygiene unpalatable.

Not forgetting the awesome jingles by NY art punks Big Stick and UK indie tunesmiths Jane & John

The show is due to return in July in an exciting new slot, on a new but related station…more news to follow…

in the meantime please have a listen to episode 11 via Mixcloud…
